microfibres no to plastic plastic free protect the planet slow fashion stop plastic sustainability sustainable fashion

Did you know that about 60% of material made into clothing is plastic, which includes polyester, acrylic and nylon textiles? These synthetic fabrics are very practical and affordable. But here’s a huge problem behind: every time they're washed, they shed tiny plastic fibres called microfibres. Washing clothes releases 500,000 tons of microfibers into the ocean each year — the equivalent of 50 billion plastic bottles.

As a sustainable slow fashion brand we want to contribute to fighting against environmental problems caused by the fashion industry. We believe that it should be a joint work and we also want to engage our customers in a sustainable way of living.

We are happy to announce that this year we are implementing a “give back” program as part of our social responsibility initiatives: we will be supporting Plastic Change, a Danish environmental organization working to break the exponential growth of plastic pollution on a global scale. It was very hard to choose an NGO, but this organization picked our attention for its ambitious and enthusiastic projects.

With each purchase you make, 3€ will go into the mission we care for deeply: support a global fight against plastic pollution and help to build awareness of the environmental problems for future generations.

Together we will make our planet greener!
